Leçon de présentation en anglais : qui suis-je ?
Il faut donner des éléments clés sur vous, comme votre nom, votre âge, votre adresse. Cela permet d’établir une première approche avec votre interlocuteur.
Le verbe le plus utilisé : To Be : am/are/is : être (utiliser pour l’âge, exception)
To Have : have/has : avoir (attention : les britanniques utilisent beaucoup plus « have got »)
Savoir où l’on vit est important : To Live : live/lives : vivre
To Work : work/works : travailler
Attention à ces deux verbes qui arrivent :
To Do : do/does : faire
To Make : make/makes : dans le sens : fabriquer (exemple : to make coffee)
Vous utiliserez les pronoms :
- I
- Me
Voici des exemples :
- I am (je suis)
- At hom, I have… (à la maison, j’ai)
- I do (je fais)
- Each dayk, I work (chaque jour, je travaille…)
Comprendre un texte de présentation en anglais
My name is John
Hi! Nice to meet you! My name is John Smith. I am 19 and a student in college. I go to college in New York. My favorite courses are Geometry, French, and History. English is my hardest course. My professors are very friendly and smart. It’s my second year in college now. I love it!
I live in a big house on Ivy Street. It’s near the college campus. I share the house with three other students. Their names are Bill, Tony, and Paul. We help each other with homework. On the weekend, we play football together.
I have a younger brother. He just started high school. He is 14 and lives with my parents. They live on Mulberry Street in Boston. Sometimes they visit me in New York. I am happy when they visit. My Mom always brings me sweets and candy when they come. I really miss them, too!

Présentation en anglais de quelqu’un d’autre
On peut utiliser la même expression « introduce ». La phrase correcte sera : let me introduce you my friend/my family/M. Spoke…
Différents pronoms existent pour présenter quelqu’un :
- He / His
- She / Her
He lives with him brother.
Attention à la conjugaison des verbes.
Avec he / she :
On rajoute dans la majorité des cas un « s » à la fin, sauf pour les verbes de modalité (prochaine leçon).
Exemple : He lives in Lyon. She loves chocolate.
